Lawyer graduated from the School of Law of the National University of La Plata in 1993. She obtained a Master’s degree in Administrative Law at the School of Law of Austral University in 1995.
Ms. Corrá is partner and co-head of the areas of Administrative Law, Economic Regulation and International Arbitration.
In the areas of International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution, where she has pursued her career for more than 15 years, she represents the main multinational companies in complex investment and commercial conflicts under the main rules of International Arbitration, including the ICSID, ICC, ICDR, UNCITRAL and other rules, on matters such as infrastructure, construction, energy agreements, mining, financing, share purchase, breach of contract, termination of contracts with the Government, impact of governmental measures on foreign investments and contracts, etc.
The issues in which she has successfully participated include regulatory counseling; participation in biddings; representation in conflicts governed by domestic and foreign law, related to utilities (natural gas distribution; airport service; electricity distribution; water provision and sewage drain); construction, operation, maintenance and extension of public infrastructure in the country and abroad; pricing at the wholesale electricity market; breach of international commercial contracts, mandatory pesification and readjustment of share purchase agreements and construction contracts; early termination of works and services contracts; distribution of fishing quotas; the impact of emergency governmental measures on public and private contracts; restrictions to the export of natural gas; border conflicts; environmental conflicts; among others.
Ms. Corrá leads the Electricity practice at Bomchil, having intervened in industry milestones, such as: the construction of the forth transmission line in extra high voltage for the transformation of the country’s electrical sector; the execution of the first renewable energy purchase agreements at the long term market; the preliminary regulatory assessment of feasibility for the installation of two nuclear power plants; share changes and provision of guarantees by regulated companies; tariff renegotiation processes; renegotiation of supply agreements due to COVID-19 pandemic; among others.
Locally, she litigates before federal and state courts and the Federal Supreme Court of Justice of Argentina, both in appeals and first instance, in contentious-administrative, regulatory and constitutional matters of institutional or economic relevance.
Ms. Corrá is Professor of Administrative Law at the School of Law of University of Buenos Aires, Chief Professor in the Master in Economic Administrative Law at the Universidad Católica Argentina and Chief Professor of Arbitration and Mediation at the School of Law of Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
Moreover, she is Member of the Executive Committee of the Latin American Arbitration Association (ALArb), Co-founder and Member of the Executive Committee of Women Way in Arbitration Latam, Member of the ICC Argentine Arbitration Commission, Officer of the Public Law Committee of the International Bar Association, Co-Moderator of the ITA Latin American Arbitration Forum (ITAFOR) and Member of the Energy Law Committee at the Buenos Aires Bar Association.
