Since 2009, CEDEP has continuously organized the Latin American Arbitration Conference (CLA), which has established itself as the most important annual arbitration event in Latin America and one of the most relevant worldwide. Throughout its 14 editions, the CLA has built bridges between Latin America and the rest of the world, bringing together leading experts in the field.
The CLA has traveled to several cities, including Asunción, Medellín, Punta Cana, Buenos Aires, Curitiba, Miami, La Paz, Cusco, Montevideo and Rio de Janeiro, always with remarkable success. Its impact is reflected in its numbers: more than 650 exhibitors and renowned arbitrators, 6000 participants from different parts of the world, and the support of more than 30 of the main international arbitration institutions.
The 15th edition of the CLA will be held again in Asunción, on September 25 and 26, 2025. As a prelude, additional activities such as an Under 40, among other meetings, are planned for Wednesday, September 24.
The CLA is directed by renowned professors Diego Fernandez Arroyo and Jose A. Moreno Rodriguez, who are leaders in the academic, arbitration and professional fields. In addition, over the years it has counted with the participation of world renowned figures such as Patricia Nacimiento, Yves Derains, Jan Paulsson, Alexis Mourre, George Bermann, Luca Radicati Di Brozzolo, Emmanuel Gaillard, Isabelle Michou, Sophie Napper and many others.
Participating in CLA 2025 is a unique opportunity for your organization to increase its visibility, credibility and ability to make strategic connections in the world of international arbitration.
